An extra tax deduction on top of the self-employment deduction, specifically for entrepreneurs who are just starting out. The amount is €2,123 per year and you can use it a maximum of 3 times in your first 5 years. The Dutch cabinet has announced plans to abolish the starter's deduction from 2027 — this is not yet law, but a government proposal.
