The One Stop Shop (OSS) is an EU scheme that allows businesses supplying B2C services or goods to consumers in other EU countries to file a single VAT return in their home country rather than registering in each EU country separately. VAT collected is forwarded to the tax authorities of the relevant EU countries. This greatly simplifies VAT administration for webshops and digital service providers.
