When a customer repeatedly fails to pay after multiple reminders, you can instruct a debt collection agency to recover the outstanding amount on your behalf. Collection agencies send additional notices and apply legal pressure to the debtor. The statutory extrajudicial collection costs are legally capped and payable by the debtor on claims up to €2,500. For persistent non-payment you can start court proceedings or instruct a bailiff.
